UQ Clinic Operations under COVID Safe Conditions

The UQ Psychology Clinic will continue to operate as normal wherever possible while protecting the health and safety of staff, therapists and clients as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve.

Clients of the clinic can continue to attend the Clinic in person without being vaccinated. Clients who are not fully vaccinated may be offered appointments via telehealth or asked to wear a surgical mask provided by the clinic when attending the clinic.

To protect our clinic team, if you are attending sessions in person, we will ask you to:

  • wear a surgical mask which will be provided by the clinic. Your therapist will also wear a mask.
  • remain 1.5 metres apart to the extent possible.

Please do not to attend the Clinic if you are feeling unwell, have any COVID-like symptoms, have tested positive to COVID-19 within 7 days of your appointment, or are awaiting the results of a COVID test. If you have any questions, please email us at psyclinic@psy.uq.edu.au.

Vaccination is strongly encouraged. To find your nearest vaccination location and for a full list of proof of vaccination options, visit www.covid19.qld.gov.au.

We offer individual, couple, family and group therapy to all ages - from children through to older adults.
